6/2/08 - Congratulations, Jennifer Klepac! Jennifer has been a good customer over the years and her love of gardening and hard work has paid off. She is the lucky winner of a $100 gift certificate good at our farm, based on her usage of plants in her landscape as well as on her patio and approach to her home. Bring a notepad, ask questions and start planning your plan. Speaking of planning, this website, www.learn2grow.com, has good ideas on how to go about deciding what to plant in our region. Better yet, learn from some fellow Kansas Citians: Shelly Marsh and her husband, Kevin host an incredibly useful site, www.savvygardener.com, detailing what's growing in our area and how to take care of it. They do a nice job, in very simple terms, of helping you decide what you can be doing in your garden on a weekly basis, based on our weather. You can sign up for their newsletter to have their ideas delivered right to your email box. We're happy to have them on our approved sender list! |
